Abstract
Dual vocational education is experiencing an international renaissance, and foreign interest in the Austrian apprenticeship model is growing. This study is the first to document the more than 400 international activities of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKÖ) and ibw Austria between 2013 and 2023, highlighting the diversity of cooperation models, discussing the conditions for successful, sustainable system reforms, and analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of the Austrian support system.
